Having been born in the US, and raised in the UK with Indo-Trinidadian and Italian ancestry, I have always been internationally curious about the world. My interdisciplinary educational and familial background has equipped me with a diverse approach to better appreciate the world of political science & international relations. After all, the disciplines of political science & international relations are a bountiful mélange of multiple methods, scholars, academic histories, epistemologies, and disciplinary approaches.

Educational background:

  • B.A. History (2012-2015) – University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK.
  • Visiting semester studying history (spring 2014) at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Massachusetts, USA.
  • Master of Legal Studies (2015-2017) – University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ, USA.
  • Doctor of Philosophy in Political Science (2019-present) – University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida, USA.
  • MA in Political Science awarded in the spring 2022.

In addition to academics, I am an avid soccer fan (both playing & watching), and I regularly participate for a team in the Gainesville Regional Soccer League.
